Mac: is being celebrated for the wonderful pride he takes in everything he does.  He consistently tries his very best and works hard in every lesson.  What impresses us most is that he never rushes his work.  Instead, he takes his time, thinks carefully and always strives to complete every task to the highest standard he can achieve.  He puts great effort into forming his letters and numbers neatly and takes real pride in the presentation of his work. His determination, positive attitude and attention to detail help him produce work that he can be proud of each and every day. We are incredibly impressed by the maturity, responsibility and commitment he shows towards his learning.

Hattie: is being celebrated for the wonderful choices she has been making in class. S he has come into school each day with a bright and positive attitude, ready to learn and give things a go. It has been lovely to see her joining in with her learning, working hard to complete her tasks and sharing her ideas with growing confidence. She has also been making thoughtful choices during playtimes and lunchtimes, showing kindness and respect to those around her.  Her smile, enthusiasm and willingness to keep trying have made a real difference this week.

Theodora: has truly stood out for her kindness, thoughtfulness and respect for others. She is always willing to help her classmates with their learning, kindly guiding them to useful resources such as number lines and sound mats when they need support.  Her caring nature shines through in everything she does. Whether she is holding doors open, helping a friend put on their coat or fetching something for someone who needs assistance, she is always looking for ways to help others.  She is a wonderful role model within our classroom and consistently demonstrates our school value of respect through her actions each day.

Teddy: has really impressed us with his hard work and positive attitude towards his English learning. This week, Class 1 have been learning about nouns and exploring how they can be grouped into people, places and objects. He quickly grasped this new concept and confidently identified nouns around the classroom.  What impressed us most was the responsibility he took for his own learning. During busy time, he independently searched for different nouns and enjoyed spotting them in his environment, demonstrating great enthusiasm, curiosity and a love of learning. We are very proud of the confidence and independence he has shown.

Jagger: has been a real maths superstar this week! Class 1 have been learning different ways to represent numbers, and he demonstrated a fantastic understanding of the various methods we explored. He confidently used counters, cubes and drawings to represent his thinking and explain his ideas. He has worked carefully when counting and has been a wonderful role model for others, always taking his time to ensure his answers are accurate. He has also impressed us with his excellent subitising skills, quickly recognising the number of objects in a group without needing to count them one by one. We are incredibly proud of the confidence, focus and mathematical understanding he has shown this week.

Erin: has settled into Class 1 brilliantly and is a wonderful member of our class.  She always works hard, listens carefully and tries her very best in everything she does.  This week, she has shown fantastic responsibility in the classroom by looking after our learning environment, ensuring resources are put away correctly and completing her jobs independently.  She understands that everyone has a part to play in keeping our classroom happy, tidy and ready for learning, and she is a fantastic role model for others.

Christian: has really impressed us with his fantastic perseverance this week. He always approaches his learning with a positive attitude and keeps going, even when things feel tricky. He does not give up, he works hard, listens carefully and tries his best until he succeeds. It has been wonderful to see the pride he feels when he completes something he has worked hard on. His face lights up with a smile, and he is always eager to share his achievements with his friends and show them what he has accomplished. We are so proud of the determination and resilience he shows every day.
