Emmanuel: has been chosen for his recent improvements in learning and his attitude to learning in general. He is stepping up his efforts, taking great care in his work and pushing himself to achieve. It is great to see his development grow over time and also his confidence in asking for help. He is putting in the extra effort to achieve what he can. Keep it up, Emmanuel.

Adam: has been chosen for his efforts in writing, in particular his handwriting. He has grown in confidence so much since joining Class 6, he is challenging himself, and finding out how capable he is. It is great to see his determination to improve, particularly towards a pen licence. Adam always puts a smile on his face and is a great representative of the school values. Keep it up, Adam.

Alice: has been chosen for their consistent efforts across all subjects. Over her time in Class 6 so far, it has been great to see her grow in confidence in lessons and herself. Her kind and caring nature shows when supporting others in the classroom and her attitude to learning is allowing her to make great progress. I know that she will continue to progress in Class 6 as she always strives to be the best she can be. Keep it up, Alice.

Hooria and Amber: Both Hooria and Amber are always showing consistent efforts across all subjects and work as a team to support each other and push each other to achieve. This week in particular, both children have been noticed for their creativity when learning about Remembrance and composing a poem to commemorate Remembrance. They shined in the art work project with Mrs Selden and their poems are amazing. Their confidence and creativity are improving all the time. Keep it up, Amber and Hooria.

Class 6: Our collective PGL experience was outstanding. All the children showed great perseverance and bravery to complete the activities and push themselves to do something out of their comfort-zone. Seeing their progress, determination and encouragement for each other was a pleasure to see. During whole group sessions and dining hall, all the children were outstanding in terms of behaviour and manners. All the staff on the residential could not be prouder of their progress on the trip and lots of memories made. Well done Class 6!

Henry: has been chosen for the increase in effort and his drive to achieve. He started class 6 quietly, and now he has settled in and is much more confident and starting to show his true capabilities. His efforts in writing this week have been amazing, his understanding of class 6 level work is getting better all the time. I know he will continue to grow and push to achieve the best he can with his work. Keep it up Henry.

Nicole: has been noticed for their amazing work in writing. She is growing understanding of effective figurative language is clear. They are able to use a variety of sentences and features within their writing to bring a narrative to life. Her passion for writing is clear and this goes in partnership with reading. I cannot wait to see how this person develops their writing further for the rest of her time in Class 6. Well done, Nicole.

Oliver - has been noticed for his consistent efforts across all lessons. He is a mature individual who supports others when needed. He is starting to show more of his personality as they settle in to Class 6. In English, he is becoming more confident about writing and offering ideas. In maths, he is rising to challenges to reach the next level of learning. It was also great to see this person take a lead role in Tag Rugby and score multiple tries. Keep up the great work Oliver.

Georgiano - has been noticed for his efforts in writing. Coming into class 6, he has become more confident with having a go in all lessons. He is stepping up to the challenge and improving himself every day. Step-by-step, Georgiano knows that he can achieve. In our writing sessions this week, he surprised himself with his creative writing ideas and how easily he could create Class 6 level sentences. I look forward to seeing his writing progress even further! Keep it up Georgiano!

James - has blown us away with his change in mindset ready for the challenges of Year 6. He is giving everything his best shot and asking for support when needed. He is becoming a more independent learner and taking responsibility for himself, his learning and his actions. What a great start to the year, keep it up James.
