Ofsted visit confirms the school continues to be 'good' April 2025
Following an inspection on the 4th and 5th of March 2025, Ofsted's judgement confirms that the school continues to be a good school.
We are particularly proud that our pupils ‘know they are wanted in school. This all helps pupils to feel welcome and valued’ as well as ‘get off to a strong start in early years’….’Pupils with SEND are particularly well supported. Pupils learn well across the curriculum and benefit from teachers with high levels of subject knowledge and passion for what they teach’.
The report recognises the extensive work on the curriculum over the years with ‘teachers effectively using their strong subject knowledge to provide clear and detailed explanations’.
As always, we will continue to build on these strengths to ensure each of our children are supported to achieve their full potential and to enjoy their time and experiences with us. As the report states, ‘leaders in school have high expectations for pupils, who achieve well’ and ‘governors understand their roles well’.
