The Ridgeon family have so kindly organised a beautiful rainbow heart that is on display at school.
The families in Year 1 worked together (but in isolation) to paint different parts of the heart to show their support for the NHS & Key Workers who are risking their lives to protect others.
In addition to the school heart, Mr Ridgeon made over 20 smaller hearts for family & friends who have donated money to the NHS in recognition of all this hard work on behalf of St Anne’s.
There is also opportunity for all the children at St Anne’s School to do their bit and get involved too.
Mrs Ridgeon has been in touch with other parents from the different classes and has purchased a small wooden heart for each child to paint in the colour for their class. All these hearts will be put together to create a rainbow on the school fence to show our support. Remember to put your name on your heart!
If any parents would like to make a donation for the hearts, these would be greatly received and will go to the NHS. Please pass on any donations to the parent within your child’s class who is distributing and collecting the hearts.
How wonderful to see the St Anne’s Community working together in isolation?
