Welcome to class 6 2023/24. This year, we are in for so much fun and incredible new learning opportunities. We will embark on a residential trip, take part in bike-ability and explore Ancient Maya, WWII and explore North America. I look forward to witnessing the children grow and progress as they embark on their last year here at St Anne's. If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact me through our class email firstname.lastname@example.org.
‘Year 6 pupils are well prepared for moving to secondary school.’
We have once again booked a course of Cycle Training for the children in Year 6. Cycle Training will take place week commencing Monday 6th November 2023.
There are two levels to the training – Level 1 will take place on the school playground where the children will need to demonstrate their skills through activities in a traffic free environment. The Level 2 course will be on the roads close to the school which have been risk assessed by Nottinghamshire’s County Council Road Safety Team. Children must be able to show they have the ability to control the cycle and maintain balance before they can move onto the Level 2 course.
Children are divided into two groups for the Level 1 training which will take place on different days.
