Congratulations on completing your first half term in Year 5!

I don’t set homework in the holidays as I believe this is a time to rest, play, recharge and have fun so spend time reading with a loved one so go out for a walk, kick some Autumn leaves but most

of all enjoy spending time with your family!

Have a lovely half-term holiday. Stay safe and we

look forward to seeing you again on Monday 4th November.

Welcome to our class page.

This year you will be taught by Mrs Camish and Mrs Storrs.

This page is for you to  get to know year 5, what we love to learn and the adventures we have been on.

Autumn Term Learning

Hello and welcome to your first term in Class 5. We hope you had a lovely relaxing break – we did!

We are very excited to be starting the new year with you and we have got some great new topics to get our teeth into!

We start the year with "Planet Earth" where we will be finding out why our planet is so incredible. We will look at where we sit within the Solar System and use maps, globes and Google Earth to discover our continents, biomes and rainforests. We will also learn about the dangers of plastics and fracking on our planet, the greenhouse effect and how to prevent climate change.
