Class 2 enjoyed a great day at White Post Farm. We started off the morning with a mini-beast hunt and found, beetles, worms, spiders, ants, slugs and millipedes to name a few. Then we looked at, held and touched some mini-beast from around the world but some weren't so mini!! After lunch we went to see the farms larger animals and had fun feeding the goats, sheep, deer and ducks. Finally we got to hold some baby animals including a mouse, chick and guinea pig. We would like to say a big thank you to all our adult helpers who helped to make a day a wonderful one. Here is what we thought of our trip.
"The mini-beast hunt was fantastic because we caught lots of different insects"
"I liked feeding the animals because they tickled my hand"
"I enjoyed seeing the female tarantula and the emperor scorpion and finding out facts about them"
"My group caught some small and large insects. I caught an ant and a woodlouse"
