Choir
The School Choir is open to all children from year 2 upwards and they practise on Mondays after school in the autumn and summer terms. The choir spend the first half of the year preparing for the National Young Voices Concert held at Sheffield Arena early in the Spring Term. They find time to learn a repertoire of Christmas music in readiness to sing at the Family of School's Concert as well as others that pop along.
The rest of the year is spent singing for enjoyment with song choices ranging from musicals, modern day and traditional and the children are encouraged to make their suggestions.
They are regularly asked to perform at various Church services and hold concerts in school.
Music lifts the spirit and we want all of our children at St Anne's to see the enjoyment that comes from singing ! Mrs M

The Young Voices Team have shared a link to to share with parents and carers for the YV Concert Video at yv23film.co.uk
It can be streamed the day after their concert and not only watch the concert but also lots of backstage and bonus footage, plus they can watch the first 5 minutes of the video for free to see how amazing it is.
PLEASE NOTE: All concerts will be available to stream for 6 months and downloadable to keep at the end of this period.
