Learning through singing

These are some songs your children sing at school to help them with different aspects of their learning.

These are linked to You Tube so please make sure you are supervising your children when they are accessing them.

The Magic e song

Numbers in the teens they start with a 1!

Numbers in the Teens (They Start with a 1) Purchase this song @ This song was written because I was frustrated with students getting their "teen" numbers mixed up. For example, many kids were writing "61" instead of 16, etc... This song contains a catchy chorus to remember that all teen number start with a 1.

What do the letters say?

Free Download: The "What Do The Letters Say?" video is a parody of the awesome What Does The Fox Say? video on Youtube! We love the original song and wanted to create something that teachers and parents could use to help their kids learn the Alphabet and Phonics Letter Sounds.

Counting songs

Here are all the counting songs from counting in 1s to counting in 12s. In Year 2 children are expected to be able to count in 2s,3s, 5s and 10s. Please focus on these so your child can apply this knowledge in a wide and varied range of mathematical contexts.

The Counting By Ones song by Have Fun Teaching is a great way to teach and learn counting by one. Kids will learn how to count by 1 all the way to 50. Watch the Animated Version: Counting Songs CD: Counting Videos DVD:

Bonds to 10 song
