This week we have joined the rest of the school in working with the poet Andy Tooze to listen, perform and write our own poems.
He gave us 3 top tips to help us with our own poems .
1. Have a great idea - close your eyes and imagine what you are going to write about. Think about what it looks like, what it sounds like, what noise it makes and what it does.
2. Have a great first line - maybe start with a question or have a repeating line.
3. Don't worry and have fun!!
In Class Two we wrote our own poems with a repeating line
